We spent a wonderful morning walking around Slovenia's capital city-Ljublijana.

We ate at a sidewalk cafe that Katarina recommended. Mark ordered the toast (grilled ham & cheese) and loved it so much we had to order him another serving. He wanted to write a rave review of how awesome it was!

Our trip to Slovenia ended the following morning. We drove from there to Stuttgart, Germany, where Mark had a work conference for a couple of days. I will post pictures from there soon.

{Swimming-Lake Bled-Slovenia}

Matevz & Mark--the last time they saw each other they were both a year old at Mark's 1st birthday party, while we were in Italy last time. It was great seeing them play/swim together.

{Lake Bohinj- Slovenia}

We spent a wonderful day in Lake Bohinj. There was a really yummy ice cream stand that we had to try. I think the kids had ice cream twice a day while we were in Slovenia--they LOVED it! The water was cold--only Mark & Kieran swam at first, then Katarina and Luka swam.

There are so many unique & beautiful church steeples/bells in Europe.

We spent a few hours enjoying the sights (and watching the kids swim)--we had to leave quickly, because a t-storm moved in. We drove to a restaurant near Bohinj that had REALLY good pizza. It's a favorite restaurant of Sandi, Mojca, and Katarina's.

{Slovenia- Lake Bled & Family}

We spent July Fourth weekend visiting family in Slovenia. Little Mark HAD to ride "FunBob"..so that was our first stop!
