I would have posted sooner, but I have been substitute teaching full time. I just finished my 6th week in the same Kindergarten classroom. I was asked if I would continue to sub indefinitely........so..............
life has been busy here!

BEAUTIFUL---we LOVED it here! We drove down for a couple hours on Sunday. We tried to go to Portofino from here, but when we got there, our Xterra wouldn't fit in the parking garage and we couldn't find any other parking. The last picture is taken from the car on the way back from Portofino.

A side trip from Genoa--after we stopped and explored Santa Margherita Ligure.
We couldn't go up into the tower. There weren't any tickets available until 4:30pm & we didn't want to wait the 3 1/2 hours....maybe next time.

{Happy Valentine's Day}--a day early!

Had a busy weekend creating Valentine goodies. I had to get it finished this weekend, because I am substitute teaching all day tomorrow. Mark & the kids will get their cards/presents tomorrow morning (because they can't wait) :D

I made cupcakes.........that are ALMOST gone (thanks to the 2 Marks LOL!).

I also made a small cake--Mark will take it into his office tomorrow.

A card I made for Kieran's teacher....we attached it to a heart-shaped tin of Hershey Kisses.

Finally---here are the Valentines I made for the Kindergarten class I will be subbing in tomorrow. I've been subbing in their class for the last 4 wks. I am there all this week too--except for Fri. when there's a teacher workday. I have a FUN day planned for them :D

{trip to Vo} 4 Feb 2011

Headed out this morning wine shopping with a friend......we went to Villa Sceriman in Vo, Italy. It was a gorgeous day--sunny & mild--Kieran didn't have school, so she came with us. She had fun playing with my friend's son.

This picture was taken from the parking lot, in the summer, they have tables outside under the vines, where you can sit, enjoy some wine & meat, cheese & bread. I'm thinking we MUST head out there this summer :D

{Innsbruck, Austria} 15-17 Jan 2011

Over the 3 day weekend, the kids and I drove up to meet Mark in Innsbruck. He's up in Stuttgart with work for an indefinite amount of time--so we met 1/2 way. We really had a great time seeing the sights of Innsbruck & had beautiful weather.

This is the hotel where we stayed.

Sat. afternoon we took the bus into downtown Innsbruck and walked around the New Town.

We made a visit to The Ferdinandeum Museum.
