{Happy 12th Birthday Mark!}

We celebrated Mark's 12th birthday yesterday (10/4).  Can't believe he's 12 already! His birthday present (and Kieran's too, her birthday is in 11 days) is a trip to Disneyland Paris this weekend.....SO EXCITED!

Our first day of school! Mark is in 7th grade & Kieran in 4th.  It was my first day of school with 18 First Graders.  We all had a GREAT first day!! Here's to a FANTASTIC school year!

{exciting news!!!} 17 Aug 2011

It's official.........I accepted an offer to teach 1st grade here! I'm SUPER excited. I start 23 August and the kids go back to school 29 August.  Mark will be in 7th grade and Kieran will be in 4th.  We are enjoying the last little bit of summer vacation.

{Swim Completed!} 12 Aug. 2011

21miles or 34,000meters at the post pool.

I started mid-June and finished this morning--swimming 1500m each time I went to the pool.
